On Wednesday 25 July 1900, the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra performs in the Salle de la Grande Harmonie in Brussels.

The orchestra is accompanied by no less than the conductor Robert Kajanus (1856-1933) and the composer Jean Sibelius (1865-1957). This concert is part of a European tour which finishes in the world exhibition in Paris.

Kajanus conducts his own suite Sommerminnen (1896) and the King Christian II suite by Sibelius (1898).
